This is very good instruction. Question: why did you mark a 1 inch basting line instead of 5/8 of an inch?
Hi Rebecca, Thanks for post. I always use 1″ in the side seams just for if I need to add some extra to the waist or hip area. Also when you buy skirts in high end stores you will see they have 1″ side seams. Take care & happy sewing
